I, the Amartya house captain of Loreto, for the session 2023-24, aim to pass on the incredible values, lessons and experiences that this school has instilled in me. I want to foster a space where students are empowered, united and unafraid to find out and do what they love. The belief in every single student’s ability to step out of their comfort zone and participate in the myriad of co-curricular activities offered as well as the opportunities our school provides us in different fields have helped us grow while learning so much and created unforgettable memories which every student will always cherish.
I hope to successfully discharge all my duties as the house captain for this academic session. I have no doubt that by the end of this year, we shall have conquered unexplored heights. In the end I take an oath to serve my school to the best of my ability.
Today I can hear of words of Niccolo Machiavelli softly ringing in my ears “It is not titles that honour men but men that honour titles”

ASHOK HOUSE CAPTAIN
I am very grateful to the principal and the teachers for reposing faith in me and encouraging me to shoulder responsibilities as a house captain. As the captain of Mary Ward house my aspiration for the house is to instill a great sense of teamwork and belongingness among the students. I will encourage and support my team in every step to face it head on so that at the end of the day we do not give importance to winning but the efforts put in as a team.
As the North star guides the sailor among the seas, I too aspire to be that beacon of light for my house. I am determined to lead, motivate and be the wind beneath the wings.

NEHRU HOUSE CAPTAIN
“I’ve never scored a goal in my life without getting a pass from someone else.” The school’s belief in me and my capabilities made me come out of my comfort zone and explore not just my own potential but also bring out the best from my team. Being conscious of attending this institution is a source of motivation to give back to the wider community. I feel leadership is about having the ability to relate and connect with people for the purpose of their betterment. I desire to create an aura for not just my house mates but all students where they’re comfortable enough to approach me for any inconvenience whatsoever.
I wish to give back to this institution for it made me who I am today, a daughter to proud parents and a student to proud teachers.
